Review:
Who
doesn't love a story of second chance at love? Too Hard to Handle is the
perfect second chance at love story that will tug at your heart strings. Dan is
an agent with Black Knight Inc who lost his wife in the first of the book Hell
On Wheels Dan The Man loses his wife in a gun battle causing Dan to lose
himself in to the bottle. So when Dan got himself together in book 7 I couldn’t
wait to see how Julie Ann Walker would write his book. Book 7 Full Throttle Dan
decides to get back in the dating game and the readers are introduced to a feisty
Secret Service Agent Penni. Where her entire team is killed in a terrorist
attack but she survives because she was with Dan instead of in her hotel room. One
night of passion will connect Penni and Dan together. Months later Penni
decides to track down Dan but discovers he is on a mission in Peru.
If
you have read any of the other books this one will seem a little familiar however
the author made Dan a person of his own. She kept true to him from the first book
all the way though book 8. Dan confession are health felt and amazingly sweet.
You
also get to know Chelsea the CIA spook a whole lot more and boy she is going to
be a fun character to follow thoughout the Black Knight Inc Books and I can't
wait to see what happens with her. She has tons of one liners that will have
the reader enjoying and laughing along.
Too
hard to Handle is an intense action story filled with lots of suspense, hot
romance and amazing lines about finding love again. Your heart will break for
Dan and all he lost but at the same time all he found honoring the dead. Dan
stays true to who he is from the first book to book 8!
