Book Review - Pawnbroker - Jerry Hatchett

Title:  Pawnbroker

Author:  Jerry Hatchett

Review:    A good read with a lot of violent murders and a hint of intrigue. Only a smattering of sex thrown in for good measure. Although I enjoyed the book I find it hard to believe that so many murders can take place in a small county in Mississippi without a lot of notice from the local and/or national press.  The main character was realistic and likeable.  The story was told in a writing style that was  very enjoyable and without a lot of frill. I figured out who the evil doer was before the end of the book and was not shocked although others may not and will be shocked.

I would read other books by this writer and gave it 5 stars for entertainment value.

I picked up this book from Kindlebuffet.com.

Thanks Frank for this review.
